Welcome to 'nantlledoku', the Nantlle Valley's online Sudoku game.

Here, you can give your mind a workout by trying to solve our puzzles. Nantlledoku is a challenge that enables you to develop logic and reasoning skills, in a game that is fun to play.

We will be adding a new puzzle every month, so visit again regularly to try your luck with the latest brainteaser.

Some puzzles will be relatively straightforward, whilst others will be almost impossible. The big question is - can you solve every one to become a nantlledoku master?

To play

  •  Click your mouse on the box where you want to input a number, and do so using the numerical 1-9 keys on your keyboard.

  •  You can delete any mistakes you make by using the 'Backspace' or 'Delete' keys on your keyboard.

  •  When you have completed the puzzle, press the 'Check' button to see if your answer is correct.

  •  Any mistakes will be highlighted in red, whilst all correct entries will be highlighted in green.

  •  To win, you need to get all the numbers in the boxes right so the entire grid turns green.

Help

  •  For those of you who are struggling, you can press the 'Hint' button for a little guidance.

  •  For those who have tried over and over but who are still failing - don't cry! Rather, push the 'Answer' button and the correct solution will be displayed. (Note: This spoils your enjoyment of the game if pressed too soon or too often, so try your best to solve the puzzle before resorting to it.)

Rules

The object of the game is to fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains the digits 1-9.

  •  None of the rows can contain the same number more than once.
  •  None of the columns can contain the same number more than once.
  •  None of the 3x3 boxes can contain the same number more than once.
